Choosing Your Own Fashion Style

We are all looking for new ways to express ourselves - so why not do it through our clothes? Fashions can be trendy or classic, and what you decide to wear can often depend on your own personal tastes and needs.

Many of us want to wear what is in fashion at any cost; not only in the present year but every single season: spring, summer, fall and winter. Those who view fashion in this manner are definitely trendy - and in some cases trend setters in their own rights!

On the other hand, there are those of us who prefer to collect timeless styles that can be worn from season to season, and year to year. Those who view fashion and style in this way are ones who appreciate classic styles that are everlasting.

So, how do you know if a fashion style, whether trendy or classic, suits you well?

Well, clothing is usually designed with different types of silhouettes and body frames in mind. Therefore, it is important to consider a few details about yourself before choosing a fashion style. Things to keep in mind are your height, weight and skin tone.

Every piece of fashion that you own, should be picked to match and put your best features forward, so you will you need to be aware of your body shape and colors that flatter your skin tone.

Your height and weight will determine the styles of clothes you will require to emphasize your favorite (and not so favorite) features of your body. Your skin tone will determine what color clothes you should choose. Keep in mind that color is very important and that it is directly connected to fashion styles as some designers create specific colors only.

Additionally, trendier colors will often be short-lived. Colors such as tangerine and chartreuse may be hot in the summer, but can disappear for good once fall arrives. Those classic fashionistas who opted to buy a tangerine tailored suit for the summer, just might find themselves with a quickly outdated tangerine suit come fall! So when choosing classic styles, it might be best to stick with classic colors such as white, black, grey and brown.

Most importantly, you must learn to be your own critic and friend in order to be able to choose the best fashion styles that will make you happy and comfortable thus, giving you your money’s worth. What good does it do to wear something that is the latest fashion but does not suit your style and personality?

So take time to experiment with different colors that make your skin glow, hide your height and weight flaws if that is a concern to you, and make you feel just fabulous! When you are able to express who you truly are, your clothes will be of second importance!

The Power of Action

The Power of Action is undoubtedly an extremely important part of realizing and utilizing the unlimited potential that has been made available to you. In the center of every being, whatever its form, the power of action is present. Joy is an emotion by which the body's power of action is increased or assisted. Make joy an integral part of your everyday life. Take a few minutes each day to do something that you enjoy doing. See the tremendous difference it makes to your ability to take action on the things you must do.

The vision of a "golden life" varies with each person. How essentially simple life is, and how we complicate it. Have you ever wondered how to make major changes in your life? Action assumes importance as you contemplate making changes. Most of what you have encountered in your life, so far, is the result of your beliefs. There are two great blessings in man's life, thoughts and action. To change your life you must start by changing your habits of thought. "Impossible" and "can't" must be removed from your thought processes. Science has proven that when you think you can do something that your mind will find a way to do it. Once the mind has found a way to accomplish what you desire, then action is required. Where there is action, there is life and creation. One of the turning points in your life will be when you discover the power of action, your power of action. Life has an amazing way of working out when you choose not to give up, but to harness your power of action.

Do you want to have a wildly successful business? For maximum effectiveness in life, love or business, it helps to have the right habits. Wisdom with the power of action is the true secret to wealth in life as an entrepreneur.

One of the laws of success is that the universe rewards those who take action. Action is the foundation of success. You are programming yourself for greatness and success when you take action on your goals and ideas. Acting on your goals will bring success into YOUR life. There can be no success without it.

Awaken your potential knowing that the power of action is within you. The power of action is just like dropping a stone into a pond. The ripples continue outward affecting everything around you. Education is great. Knowledge is great. Experience is great. Planning is great. Ideas are great. But the power of action is gigantic. Without it the rest is useless. You must take action to get what you want.

God is Good

Many believe since God is Sovereign then everything that happens is His will. That is not the case. An accurate statement is that things will happen as He says they will happen. Look at the following verse.

I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:
(Deuteronomy 30:19)

When you choose life you get the blessing and when you choose death you get the cursing. The bad things that happen which include accidents, sickness and even weather calamities are a result of people choosing death.

How do you choose life? You first begin with the big choice which determines your final destiny, heaven or hell. You accept Jesus as your personal Savior and make Him the Lord of your life.

But it doesn't stop there. God has a plan for your life and it is a good one. You need to follow His plan and his direction day by day, hour by hour and moment by moment.

Let us look to the Bible to determine if God's plan for you is good.

If you really want to see the good that God had planned for man you just need to read the first several chapters of the Bible. In chapter one of Genesis, it talks about the creation. When God created light He said it was good. When He created all of the trees and herbs He said it was good. When He created all of the birds, animals and fish He said it was good.

When God created man, male and female, He blessed them and told them to be fruitful, to multiply, to subdue and to have dominion over the fish, the fowl and every living thing that moves on the earth.

When God saw the result of His creation He stated it was very good.

So what happened? Adam disobeyed God and death entered into the earth. But there is good news. God is still good. God kicked in His plan for redemption. God never stops doing good. He continually provides a way for man to enter into His blessings. He gave the law so man would know what to do and what not to do. The choice, though, is still with man.

The more you obey God the easier it becomes to hear from God. Reading the Bible daily and doing what it says to do is the first step. Then, as God directs you personally on a day to day basis, you will be in a better position to hear what he has to say. Then you need to obey what He says to do. As you listen and obey, God will direct you away from accidents and calamities. He will tell you what foods to eat and what to stay away from. He will lead you toward His blessings.

The closer you get to God, the more you will see the goodness of God in your life.
